Cuatro Rayas Description

From our own organically produced hawthorns. All treatments carried out in the field are 100% natural, so we eliminate any contamination from the environment. Mechanical harvest at night.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Removed from lees for a minimum of 3 months.

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION

We take care of the environment. All our organic wines are made by returning to the traditional way of cultivation, that is, without herbicides, phytosanitary products, or insecticides; a completely natural crop. As for the production method, it follows the same steps as the wines of the Cuatro Rayas brand, but fermentation is carried out with native yeasts, in our case, our own yeasts. In addition, clarification can only be done with natural products, bottling and labelling with recyclable materials, and minimising the use of SO2 (sulphites, whose purpose is to prevent the oxidation of the wine). We do not use any chemical treatment throughout the production and bottling process.

CAECyL, the Council of Organic Agriculture of Castilla y León, is the public control authority that guarantees with the seals included in the labels of these wines that Bodega Cuatro Rayas complies with the requirements and demands of organic production. It also certifies the EU Organic Farming seal.

This wine has the seal of the European Vegetarian Union that certifies that in winery practices all the products used are considered VEGAN.
