Dalrymple Coal River Valley Pinot Noir 2022
W I N E D E S C R I P T I O N
Magic happens when the right elements collide and in this case, Coal River Valley’s plentiful
sunshine, low rainfall and drying winds result in bright blue fruit flavors, soft tannins, and bright
acidity. This Pinot Noir is like a well-tailored suit that fits in all the right places. Take a bow,
Mother Nature.
The grapes for this single site wine are sourced from the Mt. Lord Vineyard in the Coal River
Valley. Managed with detailed hand work, including removal of excessive vegetative growth
throughout the season, these vines are well balanced with low to moderate crops.

Initial blue fruits, cola, and rhubarb aromas are joined by hints of rose petal, peppercorn, and
baked blueberry pie. The fine, fresh, red fruits palate is imbued with hints of jasmine, darker
cherries, and gingerbread on the long finish of this deliciously complex wine.

Pair this pinot noir with pasta like strozzapreti or cavatelli with roast pumpkin, pine nuts, and
bread crumbs. This wine also pairs well with miso crusted Atlantic salmon with wholegrain fried
rice, shitake mushrooms, and nori seaweed.
