Winemakers Notes
The most prestigious of our terroirs takes its name "Tête au Soleil" from its south-facing exposure. The vines flourish up to an altitude of 430 m on a terroir of shelly limestone. These are majestic wines, with oriental notes of spices, star anise and finely minted pepper. The Gewurztraminer is the king of this steep hillside.
Suggestion: Lobster à la plancha or a scallop tartare will sublimate this great dry wine. To enchant the end of your meals, invite him with flowery cheeses.
