Winemakers Notes
Like small gardens, our plots of red wine are spread out in our beautiful valley all around the estate. The grapes macerated for 3 weeks; They will then be pressed and put into barrels in old barrels. After a year in the cellar, the wine is bottled without filtration or fining.
Tasting: The eye is immediately drawn to its beautiful garnet red color. Initially, it reveals notes of hazelnut puree, blueberry, and raspberry, before opening up to menthol, magnolia flower, coconut, ripe pear, and milk chocolate. The mouthfeel is ample, with tannins lining the palate accompanied by a pleasant freshness that adds an airy touch, and the finish is long and indulgent.
Suggestions: This is a red wine to be shared among friends around platters of charcuterie and cheese. This spontaneous wine invites us to enjoy it with an apple blood sausage or a Chinese fondue.
