A historic wine with deep roots that represented a before and after for the winery. “Malleolus”, meaning vineyard in Latin, the name given to the old vineyards in Pesquera de Duero, is an elegant wine, with great personality and a perfect balance between ripeness and freshness, characteristics given to it by the stony soils of the area.
Tasting Notes
Intense cherry red color with a violet rim, clean and bright, anticipating its concentration and elegance. The nose reveals a deep and precise fruit expression, with aromas of blackberry, plum, and blueberry, enveloped in fine notes of French oak against a balsamic and mineral background. On the palate, it is powerful yet silky, with great volume and polished tannins, balanced between maturity and freshness, and a long, serious and elegant finish, a true reflection of a highly expressive Tempranillo made with precision and respect for its origin.
