Winemaker Notes

With its classic Cabernet profile, this expressive wine shows layers of dark fruit, black pepper, and espresso, accented by an array of floral notes, including violet and lavender. With blackberry, dark cherry, and cassis on the palate, it is framed with fine tannins which carry through to a flavorful finish.

Dried flowers combine with black cherries, sawdust and cocoa as the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon slowly unfolds in the glass. This washes across the palate with ease, displaying a balanced mix of red and black wild berries, giving way to dark inner florals toward the close. A web of fine tannins is left to linger as the 2019 finishes perfumed and classically dry. There is such a pretty balance here.
