Winemaker Notes
The 2021 Austin Hope Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon displays ample blue fruit aromas accentuated by black plum, tobacco leaf and toasted oak. The palate textures are plush and expansive, delivering layers of black currant, blackberry and dried cherry with hints of vanilla bean and savory spices. Fine-grained tannins and lavish French oak top notes linger deep into a smooth, structured finish.
Dense and extracted aromas of black plum and blackberry are leveled by toasty pastry and espresso bean elements on the nose of this bottling. The palate is rich and heavy yet dances a line between flavors of blackberry, anise and coffee cream to find a deft balance.
