This white gold colored Albarino from Adega Eidos opens with a honeydew melon and nectarine bouquet with hints of lime and light florals. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very smooth, creamy, and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is lime zest and saline blend with notes of white pepper and stony minerality. We also detected some hints of stone fruit and almond. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this very good Albarino with oysters on the half shell or with swordfish, halibut, or Chilean sea bass. Enjoy
