Winemakers Notes
Assuli, which means “under the sun” in the local dialect,combines tradition and innovation in a wonderful westernSicilian location. Their 120 hectares of vineyards betweenMazara del Vallo and Trapani benefit from conditionsperfectly suited to growing indigenous varieties, includingNero d’Avola, Zibibbo, Insolia, Lucido, Grillo, Perricone,and Syrah. Their characterful wines are 100% organic andauthentically reflect the terroir of the region.
Tasting Notes
Assuli dry Zibibbo is fresh and smooth, with notes of peach and Sicilian citrus fruit characterized by a pleasant balance between salinity and minerality. Straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections. It has intense and persistent aromas of peach and Sicilian citrus. Flavours are in line with the aromas, and fresh with salinity and minerality. An excellent pairing with fish courses, smoked fish and fried fish and gourmet salads.
