The 2021 Pinot Noir Sequitur is darkly alluring and spicy in the glass, as cedar shavings give way to crushed wild strawberries, mint and dusty rose. This is lifted, a model of purity with crisp wild berries and sweet herbal tones lifted by zesty acidity. The 2021 leaves a crunchy sensation on the palate, finishing with a tart raspberry resonance and grippy tannins. This is built for the cellar. The Sequitur is refined for ten months in 33% new French oak barrels.
