92 Points - Wine Enthusiast. Since 1984, Château Les Vimières has been a family-run vineyard owned by the Boissenot family. Jacques Boissenot, who consulted for four of Bordeaux's first growths over 50 years, has greatly influenced its success. This wine is remarkably balanced, with elegant tannins and a long, refreshing finish. A traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, it is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 33% of which are new. Les Vimières can be aged for up to 15 years, making it a rare gem fit for any cellar.
