We've long been a fan of winemaker Steve Goff's Pinots so it's no surprise that he crafts lovely Chardonnay, too. While they wait for estate Chardonnay plantings to mature, Colene Clemens has released another winner from Thistle and Tree Hill Vineyards. Steve builds texture, flavor, and body from barrel time (and contact with the less). Opening with apple, white flowers, and hints of barrel toast and the palate carries these flavors through with a suggestions of pie crust.
