Located in the northern part of the Gers region of Côtes de Gascogne, belonging to the 3rd generation of Duffour family. It was converted solely to viticulture in 1973 as they saw the potential for outstanding, fresh and dry white wines. Soley clay-limestone topsoil less than one meter deep, and the subsoil is pure limestone. There are several working limestone quarries close to the domaine. This terroir drains well, enhances ripening , and imparts minerality and verve to the wine. No chemicals are used in the vineyard. The grapes are picked cool starting at 4am. From vineyard through the winemaking process are kept from the oxygen exposure. Fermented at low controlled temperatures aged on the lees for three months. The Colombard and Gros-Manseng, Ugni Blanc varieties are vinified separately and are blended in January. Vegan friendly. Energetic, intense, citrus fruits, herb with elegant mineral.
