Winemakers Notes
Homage to this small stone house sitting in the middle of the Pinot Blanc plots that grandmother Adrienne saved from destruction. It's also our refuge in case of bad weather!
The palate is crystalline and straight. It then opens up to beautiful bitterness accompanied by aromas of jasmine tea that stretch into a refreshing finish. The nose is initially shy, then notes of roasted almonds, chalk, sage appear, followed by white fruits and a hint of kirsch.
Suggestion: Open the bottle with traditional veal blanquette and pearl onions, or a monkfish tail with curry sauce, or a fillet of char en papillote with orange zest on a bed of sauerkraut.
