This wine is made from 100% Furmint, from a single vineyard called Devas, in Fruška Gora, Serbia. Fruška Gora is a beautiful, mountainous wine region that sits along the Danube, and used to be an island in the prehistoric Pannonian sea. The region is loaded with rich red clay, slate, and limestone, making it a great place to make wines with character and elegance. This wine is vinified with one day of skin contact, and aged in large Serbian and Hungarian oak for 3.5 years! Pair this deliciously fruity and textured wine with an authentic Hungarian Paprikash.
