"The 2024 Ghostrunner red blend includes Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Zinfandel. It shows a dark ruby color with an aroma that's rich in mixed berries and black cherry preserves. Hints of spice including black pepper and bacon carry through on the palate. This decadent red blend finishes with soft tannins, dark fruit and elaborate oak. We started Ghostrunner as a way to bring to the market a great tasting red blend that youll enjoy drinking anytime. Ghostrunner grapes are sourced through central valley vineyards that produce rich and elegant wines. This handcrafted wine shows complex fruit and has a gentle, well balanced finish. It can be enjoyed on its own or with a variety of foods. At Ghostrunner, we only make a red blend so we focus 100% of our time, resources and passion around just this one wine. We hope you enjoy it and share it with your friends. After completing his Enology degree at UC Davis, winemaker Larry Levin spent seventeen years at Dry Creek Vineyard. He has since covered the globe by making wine in New Zealand, Chile, and Australia. He previously was head of winemaking at Franciscan, Mt. Veeder, Robert Mondavi, Estancia, Ravenswood, and Quintessa brands."~Winery Notes

Ghostrunner is the creation of Mike O'Connell, who seems to have the Midas touch in creating value driven brands that have great success. Mike, and winemaker Larry Levin, are responsible for bringing brands to the market that many of you are probably familiar with - Pavillon, Grayson Cellars, Hanging Vine and Block Nine. We've stayed in contact with Mike over the years as we knew there would be an opportunity to work together at some point. The Ghostrunner wines are made to be immediately appealing and user friendly. They are wines that can easily be stacked in retail and used as BTG or banquet pours. The grapes for the wines are selected from several sources throughout California and made in St Helena by Larry Levin. Larry has over 30 years of experience making wines in Napa for Quintessa and Turnbull. He takes great pride in producing wines that are driven by their varietal character and have balance, all while providing tremendous value.
