The 2022 Hedges Family Estate Red Mountain offers notes of black raspberry, fig, baking spices, cocoa, rosemary, toffee, and vanilla. The texture is full, lush, grippy, bright and structured.
The 2022 Red Mountain opens with a burst of white pepper and split pine before giving way to dried strawberries and violets. Juicy and round, it splashes across the palate with tart wild berry fruits and crisp mineral tones as edgy tannins collect toward the close. It's lightly structured with medium length and hints of tart raspberry that pinch at the cheeks.
