The 2024 Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Côte du Py has tasting notes of vivid, stony redcurrant and raspberry fruit, with fine-boned tannins and a hint of sour cherry, especially on the sharp finish. The wine is medium-bodied, displaying a vivid, stony bouquet and a focused palate with tension and energy. The 2024 vintage is described by winemaker Jean-Marc Burgaud as a more challenging vintage than 2023, but the resulting wines are expected to be exciting and highly promising.
