Winemaker's Comments
This wine is sourced from prestigious vineyard sites representing three unique soil types in the Walla Walla Valley. Its old-world structure, dense dark fruit flavors, and elegant tannins exemplify the best of Walla Walla.
Tasting Notes
Beautifully structured, this stylish Cabernet Sauvignon immediately impresses with its aromatic purity, displaying brooding black currant, espresso, thyme, and graphite with hints of rose, dark chocolate, and a savory earthiness. In the mouth, fresh flavors of black plum, blackberry, and lavender give way to polished tannins and a robust finish.

This 100% varietal wine was sourced from the Pepper Bridge, Seven
Hills, Summit View, Eritage and Yellow Jacket as well as Wailer
Vineyards. Stored in 25% new French oak barrels before bottling, this
delivers black currants and dark rose petals that combine with wet
stone and black raspberry notes. The palate is soft and layered with
good refinement and underlying texture. A killer wine from a killer
vintage, savor this beauty now and over the next fifteen plus years to
come. Drink 2024-2038

A noble Cabernet Sauvignon from L’Ecole 41 with structure for serious
longevity. Crafted from four sites meant to showcase the diversity in the Walla
Walla Valley’s terroir, the nose features bay leaf and blackberries with mint
framed by a mineral streak of graphite. The palate is densely layered with
baking chocolate, cinnamon, and eucalyptus, enveloping a core of black fruits.
The tannins frame the wine nicely and reveal that this wine is one to cellar.

Cassis, spicy wood, vibrant flowers, and hints of spicy oak all emerge from the
2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley, a nicely balanced, elegant, and
medium-bodied Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that has ripe, polished
tannins and a great finish. I love it today, yet it’s going to evolve nicely for a
solid decade or more as well. It’s another impeccably made wine from this
terrific estate.

A compact, dark-fruited Cabernet showing black currant, blueberry, ink
and tomato leaf aromas. It’s full-bodied with chewy tannins that melt
into the black fruit. Drink from 2025.

Talk about classic—this cab hits with graphite, blackcap raspberry and cigar
box aromas right out of the gate. The wine’s burly tannins are necessary to
corral copious amounts of black cherry and boysenberry fruit flavors. Hovering
in the background are traces of black tea and a starchy note similar to sweet
potato fries
