Winemakers Notes
Crafted from old Meunier vines planted in 1963, located on the northern slopes and lower reaches of the Montagne de Reims.
This wine comes from the lieu-dit Les Dessus de Monthouzon, where a thin layer of clay lies directly over chalk, imparting a complex, saline, and elegant expression to the Meunier grape.
Aged in oak barrels and bottled under natural cork for the prise de mousse, Taissy then spent four and a half years on the lees before disgorgement
