Grown on steep mountainous terrain in the higher elevations of the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County, California. Dark color, red fruit of currents, white pepper, violets, oregano, coffee and grilled steak lead to an extractive fleshy structure with firm tannin and a long lingering finish.

Juicy raspberry, black cherry, orange zest, dried herbs and black-tea aromas waft on the nose. The fruit is super supple offering black cherry, blackberry pie, cardamom, lemon zest, dried tobacco leaf and a mouthwatering finish.
