2023 Serial White Blend, Paso Robles
This lively, lush, and layered white blend brings together the best of the Paso Robles region. Chardonnay is joined by Viognier, Clairette Blanche, and Albariño to create refreshing acidity with a richness that lingers. Flavors of lemon meringue, white peach, ripe pear, and marmalade flirt with a tiny touch of marzipan on the finish. Aged on neutral French oak with a kiss of lightly-toasted Acacia.
Vintage Notes:
A cooler 2023 growing season here in Paso Robles started and finished later with some historic rainfalls driving impressive yields. Higher than average temperatures in July and October pushed ripening along nicely before a very late harvest. The results were well worth the wait with remarkable fruit structure and notable flavor maturation. The 2023 vintage stands out as a true gem for Paso Robles.
