The 2020 Brunello di Montalcino is dark and brooding, mixing ashen stones and grilled herbs with dried black cherries and ground cloves. It washes across the palate with soft, generous, energetic textures, with masses of ripe red and black fruits that slowly drench the senses.

The 2020 wine harvest in Brunello di Montalcino DOCG was characterized by a warm and dry growing season, with sporadic summer rains helping to balance ripening. Yields were slightly lower than average, but the grapes achieved excellent concentration, resulting in wines with rich structure, elegance, and refined tannins. Winemakers anticipate that the 2020 vintage will produce Brunellos with great depth, freshness, and strong aging potential.
