Crafted to retain the varietal flavor and exceptional quality of Y Series wines, Y Series Lighter
has lower alcohol and lower calories per serving. The grapes are sourced from sustainably
managed vineyards in premium wine growing regions of South Australia, the wines are wild
fermented and 100% vegan friendly.
The fruit for the Yalumba Y Series Lighter Chardonnay is sourced from an excellent resource of
Chardonnay vineyards throughout South Australia.
To preserve the full experience of a delicious glass of wine with lower alcohol content, the
winemakers use reverse osmosis, a process that is gentle on the wine and better retains its
body. All Y Series wines are made with wild fermentation and the winemakers take a
minimalistic approach with human intervention. The resulting wines are natural, vegan, gluten
free and met by complex flavors that represent Yalumba's rich history of winemaking.
